Mr. George William Clarke, of Standard Telephone and Cables, Ltd., died on October 1st, aged sixty-six years.

Mr. Clarke started with the company as a tool draughtsman in 1912, and he occupied various positions before becoming the manufacturing engineer responsible for apparatus and equipment projects in the London (formerly European) general manufacturing department.
