Sir George Scott Robertson MP, administrator in India and politician.

1852 Born in Southwark, son of T. J. Robertson of Rousay, Orkney and Robina Corston Scott of Kirkwall.

1882 Married (1) Catherine, daughter of Col. A. J. C. Birch, in India[1]

1894 Married (2) Mary Berd, daughter of Samuel Lawrence, the painter, in London.[2]

1897 At the British Association for the Advancement of Science 67th annual meeting in Toronto, he received the honorary degree of DCL from Trinity University.

He was a successful businessman, actively involved in two manufacturing companies

1916 of Chelsea when he died[3]
