George Peel ( -1811) of Peel, Williams and Co
Born the fourth son of Joseph Peel, cotton-spinner, near Bury, and of Fazeley, Staffordshire
Settled in Manchester towards the end of the century, and commenced business in Halliwell Street, Long Millgate, as a reed-maker and ironfounder
1798 March 4th. Married Rebecca Barlow at Prestwich, Lancashire
