Born the son of George Hooper and his wife Jane Jackson Norgate

Married Elizabeth Fielder and had three sons and one daughter

1881-1890 President of the Institute of British Carriage and Automobile Manufacturers

1915 Died, of Elmleigh, 15 Hayne road, Beckenham. Probate to Francis George Fielder Hooper, Architect, Ernest Frederick Hooper, Chemical Engineer, and Geoffrey Fielder Hooper, Fruit Grower.
