1826 December 25th. Married(1) at Limehouse to Hannah Turtle Nyman

1841 Living at Cumberland Row, Grays Inn Lane, St. Pancras: George Kent (age c35), Blind Maker. With his wife Hannah Kent (age c25) and their children; Eliza Kent (age c10); Mary Kent (age c7); George Kent (age c3); Sarah Kent (Age 17 months).[1]

1851 Living at Milton, Gravesend: George Kent (age 45 born Bloomsbury), Patentee and Manufacturer of Rotary Knife Cleaning Machine employing 25 Men and 9 Boys. With his wife Hannah Kent (age 43 born Chatham) and their children; Eliza Kent (age 16 born Limehouse); George Kent (age 12 born St. Pancras); Emily Kent (age 8 born St. Pancras); and Henry Kent (age 2 born St. Mary Le Strand).[2]

1855 Described as 'Mr. Kent, master carpenter, of 199, High Holborn'[3]

1857 August 26th. Married(2) at Camden to Maria Udall Harcourt (1831-1906)

1861 Living at Rose Villa, Hammers Lane, Hendon: George Kent (age 54 born London), Machinist. With his wife Maria Kent (age 21 born London) and their children; Henry Kent (age 12 born London); Walter George Kent (age 2 born London); Alice Kent (age 1 born London). Also a visitor and five servants.[4]

1871 Living at 11 Bloomsbury Square: George Kent (age 65 born London), Manufacturer of Dom. Machine - 72 men and 12 boys. With his wife Maria Kent (age 31 born London) and their three children; Herbert H. Kent (age 7 born Brighton); Henrietta A. Kent (age 5 born London); and Charles H. Kent (age 1 born London). Also one dependant Amelia Hammond, Widow (age 62 born Bursted, Essex. Three servants.[5]

1881 Boarding at 33 Wimpole Street, London: George Kent (age 75 born Bloomsbury), Patentee and Manufacturer of Knife Machines. With his wife Maria Kent (age 41 born London).[6]

1890 May 23rd. Died at Highgate, of High Holborn and Southwood, Highgate, aged 84.[7]
