King Edward's High School, Birmingham, and Royal College of Science, South Kensington. Ten years with J. and S. Roberts, Ltd., engineers, West Bromwich. Started in business on own account, 1900. Sole Director of G. H. Whitehouse and Co., Ltd., engineers, Great Bridge. Ten years Lecturer in steam, gas, and oil engines. Applied mechanics and mechanical engineering to West Bromwich and Aston Manor Technical Schools. Introduced and developed the " Whitehouse " chasing machine. Member of the "Cosmopolitan" Club, Birmingham. War Services.— Organized factory for munition making which turned out large quantities of munitions for War Office and Admiralty. Specially commended by Government for training lads.
