1881 'Launch.—Yesterday afternoon, there was launched from the shipbuilding yard of Geo. R. Smith, of Whitehill Point, a small iron screw-steamer of the following dimensions :—Length, 52 feet; breadth, 11 feet; depth ? feet 6 inches. She is built to the order of Messrs Geo. Dobeson and Sons, Teams Engine Works, where she is to receive her engines.'[1]
