1821 born son of John and Ann Bidder; baptised at Presbyterian meeting house,Moreton Hampstead, Exeter,Devon,England

1841 John Bidder 40, mason, lived in Moreton Hampstead with Ann Bidder 45, George Bidder 20, mason's apprentice, John Bidder 15, Henry Bidder 11, Sally Bidder 8, Edwin Bidder 3[1]

1851 Ann Bidder 59, lived in Moreton Hampstead, with George Bidder 30, builder, William Henry Bidder 20, builder, Sarah Loper Bidder 18, Edwin Bidder 13[2]

1871 George Bidder 49, contractor, general, lived in Southwark, with Elizabeth Bidder 42, milliner, George Bidder 12, Samuel E Bidder 8 and his cousin George P Bidder 52, a civil engineer[3]

Engineer of 34 Blackman Street.

1874 Died aged 53; his wife Elizabeth was an executor.[4]

He is included on the tombstone in Moreton Hampstead of his brother, Edwin Bidder C.E. who died in Lahore in 1872 age 35[5]
