1771 or 1774 Born[1] in Alton, Hants[2]

1825 Became a partner in Perry and Barrett, Katesgrove Iron Works, Reading

Later became Barrett, Exall and Co

1841 Lived in Reading (close to William Exall, engineer), an ironfounder[3]

1851 Gentleman, retired ironfounder, age 80, lived in Reading with Sarah Barrett 81[4]

1858 Died; his memorial is made of cast iron.
