Location of Works
The works fronted onto Wilderspool Causeway, close to Warrington Bridge, and backed onto a stoneyard on the eastern bank of the River Mersey. Immediately to the south was the railway originally built by the Warrington and Stockport Railway, which crossed the Mersey by Arpley Bridge.
