Sir Geoffrey Burton (1893-1954)

1893 February 2nd. Born the son of a Canon in the Church

Educated at Trinity College, Glenalmond (Scholar); Queen's College, Cambridge (Exhibitioner).

Served in Middle East, 1914-18 in R.E. rank of Captain, (mentioned in Despatches twice).

1927-30 was General Manager, Metropolitan Carriage Co

Later General Manager B.S.A.

1953 Chairman, Dennis Brothers and Director of Lodge Plugs
