1926 Ganson Brothers Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £4,000, to acquire and carry on the business of Ganson Brothers, ironmongers, motor agents, motor hirers, and merchants.[1]

1976 The company was dissolved.[2]

Ledgers of the business, 1882-1935, have been deposited in Shetland Archives (D1/195)
