1931 Private company formed. Presumably as G. W. B. Electric Furnaces

1953 Name changed.

1955 Associate of Gibbons (Dudley), makers of electric furnaces, also small packaged boilers and control instruments[1]

1961 Manufacturers of industrial electric furnaces, "Powermaster" oil and gas fired packaged boilers; electrical control gear; "Eternite" case hardening compounds. 500 employees.
