1937 Listed Exhibitor - British Industries Fair. Furmanite method of quickly, effectively and permanently sealing leaks under pressure. Furmanite compound is injected when softened by heat into the leak where continued heat hardens it into efficient packing. (Stand No. D.228)

1981 J. Bibby and Sons acquired 85 percent of Furmanite International Ltd with its world-wide service operation sealing industrial under pressure, manufacture of equipment and leak sealing compounds.[1]
