Frederick James Dykes (1880- )


1953 Director and Technical Adviser, Trojan. Born 2nd June, 1880. Educated at City of London School; Trinity College, Cambridge (M.A.). Became a Professor, H.M. Gunnery and Torpedo Schools, Portsmouth, 1903-6. Lecturer at Cambridge, 1906-37. Master of Coopers' Company, London, 1948-9. Is also a Director of Armstrong, Stevens & Son Ltd.
