Frederick Charles Gibbons of Browett, Lindley and Co

1865 Born son of Philip Gibbons, of Wantage, Berkshire.

Ed. King Alfred's Sch., Wantage; and Amersham Hall, Reading.

1891 One of 5 Gibbons children, steam engine maker.[1]

Training: Manchester Tech. Sch. App with Gibbons and Robinson, Agricultural and General Engrs.; two years in Works of Hetherington and Co; joined Browett, Lindley & Co., Ltd., in 1893; Man. Dir. since 1903.
