Born the son of Joseph Oglesby, a Chemist and Druggist.

1887 Married on the Isle of Man to Agnes Hay

1911 Living at 12 Leaside Avenue, Muswell Hill: Frederic Richard Oglesby (age 49 born York), Civil Engineer, Director of Works Dept, Admiralty. With his wife Agnes Hay and their five children.[1]
