Francis 'Frank' (Charles) Lanchester was the middle of the three brothers who founded the Lanchester Engine Co and the Lanchester Motor Co. The others were Frederick Lanchester and George Herbert Lanchester.

Lanchester (age 17 born Hove), Auctioneer's Clerk. Three servants.[1]

He ran the London sales office and was later the Sales Director of the company.
