1874 Born in Kingston the son of Samuel (Ismael) Barker, a Whitesmith and Fitter, and his wife Eliza

1897 Married at Kingston to Jessie Annie Arnold

1901 Living at 38 Acre Road, Kingston: Frank E. Barker (age 27 born Kingston), Cycle Maker on own account. With his wife Jessie Barker (age 23 born Kingston). One boarder. One visitor.[1]

The name of F. E. Barker appears in numerous motorcycle results in the 1901-10 period. In 1901 is listed as of Molesey CC. and in 1904 of Kingston-on-Thames

1904. 'Frank Edgar Barker of 38 Acre Road, Kingston, was summoned for driving a motor bicycle a speed which was dangerous to the public'[2]

1904. 'F. E. Barker rode a motor bicycle of his own make.'[3]

1915. 'Frank Edgar Barker, of 16, Percy-avenue, Ashford, was summoned tor keeping motor cycle without a licence...Defendant said he used the motor cycle entirely for his business of repairing Government motor cycles. He was in the employ Messrs. Zenith Motors, Ltd., of Weybridge, and travelled all over the country on one of their motor cycles...'[4]

1950. 'Mr. Frank Edgar Barker, of Kingston Road. Ashford, died on Tuesday, aged 76.'[5]
