Frank Carey (1878-1940)

1878 Born

He served his apprenticeship with Simpson, Strickland and Co, Dartmouth

He subsequently occupied positions as Draughtsman and Leading Draughtsman with Peter Brotherhood, London; Day, Summers and Co, Southampton; Legros and Knowles, London; Valveless, London; Humber, Coventry; Gamage Bell Cab Co, London; Rolls-Royce, Derby; Sunbeam, Wolverhampton, etc.

He died on 8th February, 1940, at the age of 61.

He was elected an Associate Member of the Institution of Automobile Engineers in 1914.
