1907 This is the date of establishment given by the business itself. However the first listing of Charles Frank, camera maker, at 67 Saltmarket, is not until a couple of years later[1]

Charles Frank was an immigrant from Lithuania. His photographic shop continued after his death in 1959 until closure in 1970.[2]
