1878 Paris Exhibition. 'Foster and Gregory, manufacturing chemists, of Lonesome Chemical Works, Streatham Common, show general chemicals, chemicals specially prepared for the use of India rubber manufacturers'[1]

1914 Directors: Alfred L. Biggs, H. G. Brown, and W. G. Forster (Managing Director). Premises: Cover six acres, originally a large farmyard. Staff About thirty-five. Agency: 57, Dickinson Street, Manchester. Specialities: All Colours and Solvents for Indiarubber. Awards: Prize Medal, Paris, 1878; London, 1881; Bradford, 1882.
