1912 Concerning their bankruptcy. 'Holmes, Frank Henry ...F. H. Holmes and Co... a new company to be formed to acquire the loose assets and goodwill of the business of Smallwares Manufacturers of the firms of Frank H. Holmes and Co. and of Frank H. Holmes and Co. Limited, carried on at Arundel street Mills, Manchester aforesaid, as will be sufficient, according to their face value, to pay 2a. 6d. in the pound. Such new company is to be promoted and registered within three months from 7th October, 1912, by William Henry Smith, of Fallowfield, near Manchester...'[1]
