1882 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership hereto fore subsisting between us the undersigned, John Edwin Standfield and Frederick Warner Jones, at the city of Exeter, under the style of the Exeter Bicycle and Tricycle Company, was, on the 1st day of February last, dissolved by mutual consent; and that all debts due to and from the said copartnership will be respectively received and paid by the said Frederick Warner Jones, who will continue to carry on the said business under the said style of the Exeter Bicycle and Tricycle Company...'[1]

1884 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership, hitherto subsisting between us the undersigned, Frederick Warner Jones and James Henly Smith, carrying on business at No. 170, Sidwell-street, Exeter, as Dealers in Bicycles and Tricycles, under the style or firm of the Exeter Bicycle and Tricycle Company, has been dissolved as from the 31st day of December last; and the business will henceforth be carried on at No. 170, Sidwell-street aforesaid, under the above style or firm by the said James Henly Smith alone...'[2]
