Ernest Townend (1874-1948) of New Townend Brothers

Born 1875 in Coventry the son of George Townend

1901 Living at 6 Brierley Terrace, Coventry: George Townend (age 72 born Haworth), Widower, a Cycle Manufacturer and Employer. Living with his daughter Louisa Townend (age 30 born Coventry) and sons Frank Townend (age 27 born Coventry), Cycle Fitter, and Ernest Townend (age 26 born Coventry), Cycle Fitter.[1]

1911 Living at 1 Southend Parade, Foots Cray Road, Eltham, Kent: Ernest Townend, Motor Engineer - Own account. With his wife Edith Lily and their daughter. Also his sister-in-law.[2]

1939 Living in Coventry, an Aero Inspector.[3]
