Principal aim in furthering automobilism: The conversion of prejudiced opponents by affording social, short, trial trips, and, as a consequence, invariably adding to the motoring community at some near subsequent date. Considers that by taking this procedure opponents must eventually die out. Does not favour speed trials — considers reliability trials of far greater value both to purchasers and makers.
