1894 Partnership change. '...partnership hitherto subsisting between us the undersigned, Henry John Roby, Henry Edward Ermen, Francis Julius Ermen, and Francis John George Ermen, carrying, on business as Cotton Spinners and Thread Manufacturers, at Patricroft and Pendlebury, under the styles or firms of Ermen and Roby and Ermen and Co., was on the 11th day of February, 1894, dissolved, by mutual consent, so far only as the said Henry John Roby is concerned, but the business will still be carried on by the said Henry Edward Ermen, Francis Julius Ermen, and Francis John George Ermen, under the same styles or firms. Frank Henry Roby, son of the said Henry John Roby, has an interest in the said business...'[1]
