Enoch Wedgwood, a distant relative of Josiah's, was also a potter, who founded Wedgwood and Co.

There were other Wedgwoods in British public life (in addition to those named in Wedgwood) who are mostly related to the extended family of Josiah Wedgwood.

1841 Enoch Wedgwood 35, book...., lived in Wolstanton, Jane Wedgwood 25, Edmond M Wedgwood 8 Months[2]

1851 Enoch Wedgwood 37, earthenware manufacturer, lived in Wolstanton, with Jane Wedgwood 37, Edmund Wedgwood 19, Charlotte Wedgwood 8, Anne Wedgwood 2, Alfred Wedgwood 7 Months, and his brother Jabez Wedgwood 30[3]

1861 Enoch Wedgewood 47, earthenware manufacturer employing 3000 adults and young persons, lived in Wolstanton with Jane Wedgewood 47, Edmund M Wedgewood 20, Charlotte H Wedgewood 18, Alfred E Wedgewood 10, Jabez C Wedgewood 40, manager of a manufactory[4]

1871 Enoch Wedgwood 57, county magistrate and manufacturer, lived in Wolstanton, with Jane Wedgwood 57, Alfred E Wedgwood 20, Jabez C Wedgwood 50, flint merchant[5]
