The English Watch Company, of Birmingham

1885 Exhibit machine-made Watches of various designs. Introduced a new speciality - an English double chronograph, invented and patented by Mr. Douglas, of Stourbridge, registered under the tradename of the "chrono-micrometer." This was expected to compete with the Swiss who were the main makers of such instruments
