1881 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between Henry Ellis and John Hinchliffe, carrying on business together as Stone Masons, Builders, and General Contractors, at Nos. 30 and 32, Fairfield-street, in the city of Manchester, in the county of Lancaster, under the firm of Ellis and Hinchliffe, was, on the 25th day of August, 1879, dissolved by the death of the said Henry Ellis on that day....'[1]
