1844 set up a business in Bristol to supply shopkeepers with bags and stationery.
He bought the rights to make a bag-making machine that had been invented in America, and printed the shop name and designs onto the wrapping and bags.
His business became E. S. and A. Robinson
His business later became Dickinson Robinson Group.[1]
