1894 Company established by a syndicate and incorporated as a limited company.

1904 Sir Hiram Maxim Electrical and Engineering Co promoted the Electric Light Insurance and Maintenance Co (1904) Ltd to acquire the Electric Light Maintenance, Insurance and Construction Company that was in liquidation but had been good customers of the company.

1914 Insures, maintains and keeps in efficient working condition electric light and plant. Electric light installation, power plant, medical electrical apparatus, ventilation schemes designed, installed and maintained, arc lamps, gas engines, dynamos, motors, telephones, electric bells, storage batteries supplied and maintained. Employees 40 to 50 workmen plus office staff. [1]
