Ehret Way (1877-1913)

ELERET WAY, son of the late Colonel G. A. Way, C.B., and a great-grandson of Sir William Cubitt, Past-President, was born in India in 1877, and died at Broadstairs on the 20th August, 1913.
Trained on the Taff Vale Railway, he gained practical experience in the Malay States, and in 1904 became temporary Assistant in the Indian Public Works Department.
He was employed successively on the Nagda-Muttra State Railway, the North Western Railway and the Great Indian Peninsula Railway at Bhusawal, where it is believed he contracted enteric fever.
Mr. Way was elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 4th April, 1905.
