EDWARD WILLEY, B.Sc. (Lond.), was born on the 7th February, 1884, died at Vancouver on the 11th July, 1913.
He was educated at Leeds University, and gained practical experience in the Newmarket Haigh Moor and Houghton Main Collieries.
In 1907 he went to India, and was engaged in the management of manganese mines and a railway in Mysore. Proceeding to Canada in 1912, he was employed at the time of his death on the staff of the Canadian Collieries (Dunsmuir), Limited, at Vancouver Island.
Mr. Willey wits elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 7th December, 1909.
