1851 Edward Newman Fourdrinier 50, mining agent, was lodging in Sunderland; also with him were Anne Fourdrinier 48, Frederic Boyle Fourdrinier 15, Douglass Fourdrinier 8[1]
1851 of 38 Barclay Street, Sunderland. Exhibited at the Great Exhibition a safety apparatus he had invented, for preventing loss of life and property when a rope or chain breaks in shafts of mines and collieries.
1858 Died in Lambeth[2]
