1929 Wills and Estates. 'Major Edward Lyall, D.S.O., of Barton, Yorks., and of Darlington, mining engineer, chairman of the Painston Colliery Co.; of John Tinsley (Ltd.), haulage engineers, managing director of the Barton Limestone Co., and a director of the Hawthorne Limestone Co., a Magistrate for the North Riding.[1]
