Worthington and Co.]], Burton-on-Trent, from 1880 to 1910. Previously he had been with the firm of [[Thornewill and Warham|Thornewill and Warham]], also of Burton-on-Trent, and during that period he brought out a patent cask washer. | |||

EDWARD FREER DANIEL, born at Wellingborough on 31st January 1839, and died at Broadstairs on 19th July 1922, at the age of eighty-three, was engineer to Messrs. Worthington and Co., Burton-on-Trent, from 1880 to 1910. Previously he had been with the firm of Thornewill and Warham, also of Burton-on-Trent, and during that period he brought out a patent cask washer.
He retired from active work in 1910 and went to live at Broadstairs, Kent.
He became a Member of this Institution in 1866.
