Post-WWI Curran Brothers diversified into enammelled metalware, including cups and plates. These were manufactured using the staff and equipment previously used for shell casing production. As a result Curran's maintained their capability to manufacture munitions.
By 1921: Manufacturer of Holloware and heavy stampings; Edward Curran was chairman and managing director.
1937 Edward Curran and Co were listed as exhibitor at the British Industries Fair. Silver Swallow, Chef, and Lilywhite Enamelled Ware, In a wide variety of pleasing modern colours, in addition to the ever-popular white - designed by housewives for housewives. (Stand No. A.605)
1938 Manufacturer of holloware[1]
1942 John Curran, chairman of the company, was awarded CBE[2]
1947 The company was put into voluntary liquidation[3]
1948 Edward Curran and Co Ltd, Curran Products Ltd, Curran Brothers Ltd, Curran Machine Tools Ltd were all in voluntary liquidation.
1950 Curran Machine Tools Ltd was in liquidation, as was Curran Foundry and Engineering Ltd[4]
