1820 Born at Bitton, Gloucestershire

1841 Edward Bush living in Bristol (age c20), an Engineer with his brother? Thomas Bush (age c25). Also Elizabeth Drummond (age c45) possibly a servant. [1]

1851 Edward Bush living at Alveston (age 32 born Bitton), an Engineer. With his wife Frances Charlotte (age 26 born Jamaica (British subject). Also his daughter Eliza C. P. Bush (age 7 born Bath) and TB's sister Emity (age 29 born Bitton). In the house of his uncle William Bush (age 73 born Doynton), a Farmer of 90 acres employing 4 men. Three servants. [2]

1861 Living at Clifton (age 40 born Bitton), an Engineer. With his wife Frances c. (age 36 born Jamaica) and their niece Blanche Bush (age 5 born Bitton). Also two visitors from Jamaica. One servant. [3]

1901 Living at Alveston (age 80 born Bitton), Living on Own Means and an Employer. With his sisters Clementina Bush (age 81 born Bitton) and Emily Salmon (age 79 born Bitton). Seven servants. [4]

1908 Q3. Died

1908 December. Will of Edward Bush of The Grove, Alveston granted to his nephews Henry Graham Bush and Philip Wathen Bush and contains shares of the Bristol Water Works Co [5]
