1957 11th AGM. The main areas of the business that were growing were:
New products included windpower, concentration of heavy minerals, expanding uses of prestressed concrete, trawlers.
1962 Sold Dow-Mac (Products) to Norcros
1976 Concrete Ltd of Leeds acquired Dowsett Engineering Construction and subsequently Dowsett Piling and Foundations[2]
