1730 Domecq family founded the Domecq bodegas in Jerez, Spain.

1822 The company name was changed to Pedro Domecq and Co by Pedro Domecq Lembeye.

1839 Pedro Domecq Lembeye died and his brother, Juan Pedro Domecq took over the running of the firm.

1869 Juan Pedro de Aladro and Pedro Domecq Loustau, cousins, began the running of the company.

1920 The business was visited by King Alfonso XIII, and was granted Marquess of Domecq D'Usquain.

1994 The company was taken over by Allied Lyons to form Allied Domecq.

2005 Pernod Ricard acquired the company.
