Denham's Engineering Company, of Empire Works, Holmfield, Halifax

1899 Private company.

1937 Machine tool manufacturers.

1961 Machine tool makers, specialising in centre lathes and surface / boring lathes. 200 employees.

1961 Charles Churchill and Co acquired Denham's Engineering Co, whose lathes were complementary to those of Churchill-Redman[1]

A large Denham lathe is on display at the Museum of East Anglian Life.
