Designer, manufacturer and supplier of plant to the steel forming industries

1987 EGM held at Workington. The name of Distington Engineering Contracting Ltd was changed to Davy (Distington) Ltd[1], a subsidiary of Davy McKee (Sheffield)

1991 Davy Corporation was acquired by Trafalgar House

1992 the business was transferred to Davy McKee (Sheffield) so the company became dormant

1994 The name of Davy (Distington) Ltd was changed to Davy Distington Ltd
