David Ward (1834-1889) of Ward and Payne

1834 December 06th. Born at Sheffield the son of Edward Ward and his wife Catherine Payne.

1871 Living at Mount View, Ecclesall Bierlow, Sheffield: David Ward (age 36 born Sheffield), Edge Tool and Steel Shear Manufacturer employing 196 men, 14 girls and 10 boys. With his wife Clara, two daughters and three sons.[1]
