THE whole of the Valuable STOCK-IN-TRADE, Plant and Materials, comprising a capital 14-horse Condensing Engine and Boiler, drilling machine, 15 heavy pair vice, three large post and hand drills, two cranes, stocks and dies, scales and weights, new steam engine cylinder, four work benches, large quantity of gas piping and burners, large planing machine, 20 foot bed, shafting and pulleys, 21 foot facing lathe, 4 other lathes, tapping machine, five anvils, large wood and brick shed, drug, bar iron and steel, a large quantity of turning and other tools, screw tackle, blocks and rope, brass, wood, and metal patterns, quantity of iron work for railways, &c. &c. ....' Note: It appears from the above description that David Duncan may have occupied part of the premises and equipment at Nun's Street, Derby, intermittently used by William Mosedale.
