David Alan Stevenson, B.Sc., F.R.S.E., M.Inst.C.E., Civil and Consulting Engineer, of Edinburgh

1854 Born in Edinburgh, son of David Stevenson (b.1815) and his wife Elizabeth[1]

Educated at Edinburgh University.

1878 became a partner in the family firm David and Thomas Stevenson

1881 Civil engineer

1891 The firm became D. and C. Stevenson

Engineer to the Commissioners of Northern Lighthouses; senior partner, D. and C. Stevenson, engineers to the Clyde Lighthouses Trustees and consulting engineers for numerous harbour and river authorities both at home and abroad

1938 Died in Edinburgh[2]
