D. J. Tow, BSc(Eng), Dip Chem Eng (OCL), CEng, FiChemE, Fellow, Commenced his career with BOC Ltd working on low-temperature gas separation plants.
Moving to Head Wrightson Processes Ltd he was engaged on various types of refinery, atomic energy and chemical process projects, specialising in design engineering and equipment involving heat and mass transfer, ie cooling towers, air-cooled heat exchangers, and industrial furnaces. He became chief executive of a division handling specialised equipment and finally Assistant General Manager of the Company.
After a time with the R. M. Parsons and Scientific Design Company on petroleum, fertiliser and chemical plant projects, worldwide, he joined Cremer and Warner as an Associate in 1972 and is now involved in the techno-commercial aspects of cooling equipment, petroleum, petrochemical, chemical, natural gas and fertiliser projects.
