1818 Partnership change. '... the firm of Applegath and Mitton, as Stereotype-Founders and Printers, in Nelson-Sqnare, in the County of Surrey, was dissolved by mutual consent on the 25th day of December last, ... that the aforesaid trades or businesses will in future be carried on by the said Augustus Applegath and Edward Cowper, under the firm of Applegath and Cowper...'[1]

1827 William Clowes and Sons took over Augustus Applegarth's premises in Duke Street, Blackfriars.
