in Timberscombe, near Dunster, Somerset

A flour mill existed here from at least the 14thC until the late 19thC.

In 1904 the Mill was converted to a Sawmill. By the end of the 20th century the mill was in a dilapidated state, but it has been renovated as a sawmill and forge thanks to the vision and determination of Owen and Angela Rush. Work included the restoration of the 14 ft water wheel, which can now drive a number of vintage woodworking machines. A collection of agricultural and industrial machines and tools are displayed as a private collection, which is open to the public, free of charge, by appointment or on advertised open days.
