In Churchill village, near Kidderminster

  • Churchill Forge produced spades, shovels, edge tools, and similar implements, and also industrial pans and ladles. Power was derived from two waterwheels. Trading as Benjamin Bache and Son, production ceased in 1969, but the forge has been preserved as it was left, and is open to the public several times a year.
